We are looking for individuals who are genuinely committed to their recovery, personal growth, and reintegration into society. To maintain the safety and integrity of our community, all applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be actively in recovery from substance use OR reentering society after incarceration with a strict commitment to a sober lifestyle.
- Must be willing to submit to random drug and alcohol screenings.
- Must be physically and mentally capable of caring for oneself and participating in household chores.
- Must be employed, actively seeking employment, or enrolled in a full-time educational/vocational program.
- Must agree to abide by all house guidelines, curfews, and mandatory meetings.
How to Apply
Step 1: Initial Inquiry
Reach out to us via phone or our online contact form. We will answer your initial questions and check current bed availability.
Step 2: Phone Screening
We will conduct a brief interview to understand your current situation, recovery history, and ensure our program aligns with your goals.
Step 3: House Tour & Paperwork
If approved, we will schedule a time for you to view the home, meet the house manager, and review the admission agreement and house rules.
Step 4: Move-In Day
Welcome to your new community. You will get settled into your room and begin your structured journey to independence.

Is the home completely substance-free?
Yes. We enforce a strict, zero-tolerance policy for drug and alcohol use. We conduct random screenings to ensure the safety and sobriety of all residents.We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Random testing is conducted regularly. Any violation results in immediate dismissal to protect the other residents.
How much does it cost to live at Power Home?
All residents must be employed, actively seeking employment, performing approved volunteer work, or enrolled in a full-time educational program.
Are visitors allowed at the house?
To protect the privacy and safety of all residents, visitors are generally not allowed inside the home or living areas. However, we highly encourage residents to meet with approved family and friends outside the home or during designated community times.
Do I have to have a job to live here?
Yes. A key part of successful reintegration is productivity. Residents must be employed, actively looking for work, volunteering, or enrolled in school. We do provide guidance and support for job searching if you need it.
What should I bring with me?
You should bring your personal clothing, toiletries, any prescribed (and approved) non-narcotic medications, and a positive attitude. The home is fully furnished, so you do not need to bring bedding, furniture, or kitchenware.
